Booking Terms of Service

Reservations Made More Than Thirty (30) Days Prior to Check-in Date.

An advance payment of fifty percent (50%) of the total cost of the vacation rental (inclusive of fees and applicable taxes) is required to confirm all reservations. If the reservation is booked before the rental rates are established, the rates will be based on the current rental rates and are subject to change.

Reservations Made Less Than Thirty (30) Days Prior to Check-in Date.

An advance payment of 100 percent (100%) cost of the vacation rental (inclusive of fees and applicable taxes) is required to confirm all reservations.

Payment

Balance is due upon check-in. Rates are subject to change without notice and all rentals are subject to Florida state and local tax.

A credit card is required to hold all reservations. The credit card will be held on file for any incidentals.

Payment is accepted by credit card, check or money order. Checks will not be accepted as payment for reservations made less than thirty (30) days prior to arrival date. Non-US checks are not accepted. Sunshine Shores Boutique Apartments will collect a Returned Check Fee of $50.00 for any payment by check that is returned for insufficient funds.

Cancellation of Reservations

Seasonal December 1 to May 1 & Holidays – Sunshine Shores Boutique Apartments will process cancellations and refund all monies received within the 90 days of the reservation booking date.

Off-season May 1 to November 30 excluding Holidays – Sunshine Shores Boutique Apartments requires 48-hour cancelation notice and will refund all monies received.

Hurricane Policy

In the event of a hurricane or tropical storm, Sunshine Shores Boutique Apartments will receive evacuation instructions from the National Hurricane Center and our local governing officials. If the “Mandatory Evacuation” order is given, a credit will be given. Late arrivals, or early departures for any reason (including weather) do not warrant any refund of rental payments or deposits from Sunshine Shores Boutique Apartments.

Property Assignments

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Sunshine Shores Boutique Apartments reserves the right to change your reservation to equivalent or better accommodations.

Disclosure
Property owners and Sunshine Shores Boutique Apartments will not be held responsible for acts of theft, vandalism, or other damages to guests’ personal property or items left at the vacation property. If an item has been accidentally left at the property, please contact Sunshine Shores Boutique Apartments as soon as possible and every effort will be made to locate the item and mail it to your home. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the guest.

Representatives of Sunshine Shores Boutique Apartments and/or owners may enter the premises at any reasonable time to make repairs or for inspection of property.

Properties may not be sublet.

Check-in and Check-out Procedures

Check-in hours: 4:00 pm standard eastern time.
Sometimes the room is ready before 4:00 pm. Please call us and we will try out best to accommodate you.

Check-out hours: 11:00 am standard eastern time.
If you require a later check-out time, please let the manager know upon check-in and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please note a half or full day rate may be applicable.

In order to avoid additional charges to your credit card, we ask that the following be done prior to your departure:
• All debris, garbage and discards are disposed of properly in designated containers located outside the rental property.
• Soiled dishes are cleaned.
• Property is left in neat condition upon departure, furniture is not rearranged and items are not damaged or missing.
• All windows and doors are locked upon departure.
• Keys are returned to rental office upon check out.

Amenities

Pool, onsite BBQ, lounge chairs, coin operated laundry, outdoor shower, Wi-Fi, pool/beach towels provided.

The accommodation will be stocked with a starter supply of trash liners, toilet paper, paper towels, sponge, coffee filters, travel size bath soap, travel size shampoo, travel conditioner and dish soap. Extra needed items are the responsibility of the guest.

Bed and bath linens are furnished and are not to be removed from the property. Any damages will be charged to your credit card per the Damage Security Section.

Sunshine Shores Boutique Apartments cannot guarantee these or other appliances. We will do our best to have malfunctions repaired as soon as possible. No compensation will be given for temporary outage of electricity, gas, water, and cable or Wi-Fi service. Outages will be reported immediately and every effort will be made to have them restored as soon as possible.

Cleaning & Care

Your vacation property will be cleaned to quality standards prior to your arrival and after your departure. You will be responsible for cleaning during your stay and for leaving the property in good condition at check-out. Additional housekeeping services are available upon request for a charge. We respectfully request your awareness and appreciation of the property owners; please treat the vacation accommodation with the care you would your own.

Pets

We love pets, but they are not allowed.

Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all Sunshine Shores Boutique Apartments rental properties. If evidence of smoking is found inside the property a fee of $250 will be assessed for necessary deodorizing and additional cleaning. These charges will be charged to your credit card per the Damage Security section.

Parking

One parking spot per unit is provided.

Damage Security

Sunshine Shores Boutique Apartments reserves the right to charge the credit card(s) on file:
1) To reimburse expense incurred to repair damage or replace missing items.
2) To pay for extra professional cleaning, if necessary.
3) For any other charged incurred for violation of the Rental Policy as a result of your stay.

Property keys or beach passes

Keys and beach passes (when applicable) are provided at check-in and must be returned to the rental office at check-out. A charge of $25.00, plus applicable taxes will be charged to your credit card for a beach pass not returned.

Lost keys

We take the security and safety of our guests very seriously. That’s why we ask that you always keep your room key with you during your stay. However, we understand that accidents can happen and sometimes keys can get lost.

If you find that you’ve lost your room key, please notify our rental office as soon as possible. We will need to call in a locksmith to replace the lock and provide you with a new key. Please note that the cost of the locksmith will be your responsibility, and we will charge your account accordingly.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we must take this precaution to ensure the security of our guests and their belongings. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Oops I got locked out. What to do?

If you are locked out of your accommodation during normal business hours of 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, please contact our rental office at (561) 844-6194. If it is after business hours, please contact our Emergency after-hours telephone number (561) 818-6225. A representative from Sunshine Shores Boutique Apartments will meet you at the rental office to provide assistance.

Expecting guests to visit

Please contact the manager to register your guests. Guests are not permitted to stay overnight. Please ask the manager about parking onsite as it is not always available.
